Following his retirement after 20 years in service, he had applied to the KVS in 2006 for the post of physical education teacher.
On Aug 21, 2007 he also gave a written test and interview but he was not among the short-listed candidates.
To find out why he was rejected, Ahuja filed a Right to Information (RTI) application, which revealed that his candidature was turned down because he had no formal training in the area.
Ahuja also moved the CAT but it also turned down his plea.
'The petitioner was fully qualified and this post should not be denied to him,' said the bench asking the school to consider him again for the post of teacher.
