Omaxe to develop IT township in Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi: A private sector subsidiary of realty major Omaxe Thursday said it has entered into a pact with a state agency to set up a high-tech township at Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, around 70 km from here.

The township will be well connected to the National Capital Territory and has a revenue potential of Rs.7,500 crore once it is completed in its targeted time-frame of five-seven years, the company said.

L&T gets order for nuclear unit

Mumbai: Engineering and construction giant Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has bagged a repeat order for the design, manufacture and supply of four steam generators to an atomic power plant in Rajasthan run by the state-run Nuclear Power Corp.

The company says these will be the largest steam generators built in the country. With the new order, its contracts for the supply of nuclear power equipment exceed Rs.400 crore.
