Mumbai, Sep 10 - Leading Indian television and entertainment house UTV and the US-based news and information content provider Bloomberg have signed an agreement to launch a business news channel in the country.
The pact also calls for the renaming of an existing channel as Bloomberg-UTV and will target 30 million households across India with business, financial, and political news, a joint statement by the two companies said.

Tatas extent Ethernet services to China
Mumbai: Tata Communications Thursday announced that their Ethernet services, which allow fast data communications between or among clients across geographies, are being extended to China.
The services will be offered in the group's collaboration with the Beijing-based China Enterprise Communications, a value-added telecom and IT solutions company. This takes the group's Ethernet reach to over 200 cities across 31 countries.

Adlabs reorganises Big Cinema business
Mumbai: Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group's Adlab Films is being reorganised into two strategic units based on geographic considerations to deepen its foot hold in the country's entertainment business.
The company, which is being renamed Reliance MediaWorks, is proposing to add 100 more cinema screens in 85 cities, to add to its portfolio of 5,459 screens in India, the US, the Netherlands and Malaysia, a regulatory filing said.
