Bhopal, Aug 21 - Three cubs of a tigress, which was allegedly poisoned and found dead Tuesday, were traced two days later much to the relief of the officials of Madhya Pradesh's Bandhavgarh National Park.
'About 250 park employees were on an intensive search. The cubs were found hiding in bushes near Padratal Muda Pahadid area in healthy condition Thursday,' park's deputy director K.S. Alawa told IANS. The cubs went missing after the tigress died.
'We are planning to shift the cubs, one male and two female, aged about eight months to some such place - other than the zoo - where similar conditions could be given to them for their survival,' Alawa said.
