New Delhi, Aug 19 - Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit Wednesday said that city schools had a large role to play in making the forthcoming Commonwealth Games a success by 'inculcating right values' in children to play a good host.
'Principals must inculcate right values with correct information in children and in fellow teachers, so that Delhi would become a wonderful host for 52 visiting nations of the world,' Dikshit said while addressing the annual conference of principals/heads of department of Delhi government schools at Vigyan Bhawan here.
Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely and officials of the education department were also present.
The chief minister described principals as role models for students and said that common people look forward to their guidance.
