The participants would be visiting different venues and ongoing construction sites of stadia. The meeting would last for six days.

According to the statement, approval to the second and third and final phase of the city's look could be deferred as it would depend upon the feedback on the first phase.

The second phase would cover the period from January to August 2010, whereas the final would be for the period of the games.

It was also decided to make 25 DTC buses available to the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee for the delegates of the general assembly during October 2009. These buses would be air-conditioned and would have special signage of the Commonwealth Games.
