Besides, two new suspected cases were also reported in city hospitals.
One of them is a 20-year-old student from Pune who had come to meet her parents in the neighbouring Panchkula town. She was admitted with swine flu symptoms here in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research.
Another is a six-year-old girl from Mohali town who was admitted in government hospital here in Sector 32.
'We have sent the samples of their throat swabs to NICD (National Institute for Communicable Diseases), New Delhi. The report is expected to come by the evening,' a health official said.
So far, nearly 50 suspected cases of swine flu have been reported in this union territory. Seven of them tested positive.
