'When my parents were alive, they managed to get nearly Rs.3 lakh by selling their valuable items to get me admitted to the Pant Hospital in Delhi. I underwent a surgery, but it turned out to be unsuccessful,' he said.
After this, Bina made umpteen appeals for financial help from several social organisations for the treatment of her brother, but to no avail. 'All such appeals failed to make any impact or move anyone. Feeling utterly helpless, therefore I wrote to the president, prime minister, chief minister and the Human Rights Commission to get me killed by euthanasia,' he said.
