New Delhi, Aug 4 - More trouble loomed for former union minister Buta Singh's son Sarabjot Singh, arrested in a bribery case, with the Delhi Police Tuesday saying it had not found any licences for the three firearms recovered from his house during a raid.
'We don't have any record of the firearms recovered from his house,' Delhi Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal told reporters here.
The senior police official said Sarabjot alias Sweety Singh might have obtained the licenses, which are mandatory to keep firearms, from other states.
'Even if he obtains licences from other states, but as per the law he has to take endorsement from the police of the state where he is keeping the weapons. He did not seek any endorsement from us,' said a senior police official.
