Although Wood has his misgivings about modern technology, he admits he can't bear to be parted from his cell phone.

'I'm a gadget guy for sure, but I think there is a time and place for everything. People are talking on them constantly at restaurants and movie theatres, which I think is really inappropriate. So I try to keep my gadgets to the right time and place. But I have a cell phone and I have a Blackberry,' he said.

'I've had an iPod since the beginning and that got me into being a DJ at parties and clubs,' he added.
