Kozhikode, Sep 13 - Stating that he had 'nothing to hide', Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Sunday asked those who have alleged his son's link-up with criminals involved in the murder of Muthoot business group scion Paul M. George to come forward with the evidence.
Balakrishnan said this to reporters after state Youth Congress president M. Liju alleged that it was Balakrishnan's son Bineesh Kodiyeri who was protecting one of the murder accused, Om Prakash, when he was in Dubai.
'I request those who have voiced the allegation to hand over all the evidence,' said Balakrishnan.
Paul M. George, 32, son of Muthoot Finance Group chairman M.C. George, was killed Aug 21 midnight near Alappuzha while he was travelling in a car with Om Prakash and P. Rajesh, who face several criminal cases.
Eyebrows were raised when the police arrested 19 others but did not arrest the two.
Early this week, the men surrendered in a court in Tirunelveli and the next day they were handed over to the Kerala Police.
