The two other deaths in the state include a 53-year-old man, who died Saturday at a private hospital in Bijapur, and an 11-month-old infant boy who died Tuesday at a private hospital in Davangere.
Meanwhile, 187 fresh cases were reported in the country, taking the total number of people affected with the virus to 5,796.
'Till date, samples from 27,633 people have been tested for Influenza A (H1N1) in various government and private laboratories across the country, and 5,796 of them have been found positive,' a statement issued here said.
The maximum cases were reported from Tamil Nadu with 61 detected Friday.
Delhi reported 46 fresh cases, taking the total number of people affected with the flu to 1,113.
In Karnataka, 22 cases were registered, taking the total number to 686. In Maharashtra, which has seen the maximum deaths and cases in the country, 32 more people tested positive for the flu, officials said.
So far, 72 people have died in Maharashtra, while a total of 1,943 people have tested positive.
