Rahul's father had approached the court after his son was suspended, stating that the school's move was unjust and violated the principles of natural justice.
'Wearing the belt on the hips instead of the waist is no crime and this is an anti-child practice and amounts to victimization of the child,' said Rahul's counsel Ashok Aggarwal.
But counsel for the school contended that Rahul was not the only one who was suspended for this indiscipline and submitted that many other students were also suspended on the same ground.
'The school is not the extension of the ramp where students have to show their dresses and how they are to be worn,' the school counsel argued.
