New Delhi, Sep 11 - The Delhi High Court Friday directed the city's Mount Carmel School to allow a student to attend classes again after he was suspended in July for wearing his belt too low.
Rahul Seth, a student of Class 8, was suspended for indefinite period for wearing the belt in the wrong manner, amounting to indiscipline.
A division bench headed by Justice Mukul Mudgal directed the school to let Rahul attend school from Monday onwards and said: 'It might be the child's mistake but that should not affect his future. As far as discipline is concerned, these things should have been resolved outside the court and the matter should not have reached court.'
The school and the child's parents apologised for the mistake on their part before the court.
