In his complaint, Garg has said that to retain the possession of land, which had been acquired by the government for constructing low-income group (LIG) flats under a scheme, Aggarwal has illegally constructed a temple there to take advantage of religious sentiments of the residents in the area.

However, Aggarwal's advocate said Garg was making 'baseless allegations' against his client due to political vendetta.
