New Delhi, Sep 10 - The capital's movie buffs will be able to watch the latest Hollywood films at the American Center here, before their release in the country.
The US embassy and the Motion Picture Dist. Association (India) Pvt. Ltd, the Indian arm of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), have announced a partnership to premiere new Hollywood movies at the American Center in Delhi.
Announced at a reception hosted by the US Ambassador to India Timothy J. Roemer for MPAA CEO and chairman Dan Glickman Sep 8 at his Roosevelt House residence, the collaboration will see the premiere of a minimum of 'six-12 new American movies' by the year end at the American Center, 24, Kasturba Gandhi Marg.
'The US and India have the largest motion picture industries in the world, reflecting the appreciation of film that both Indians and Americans share.
