While Bhopal recorded 40 mm rain, Narsinghgarh district has received 300 mm rainfall since Wednesday. Jabalpur has received 210 mm rainfall, Pachmarhi (230 mm), Sagar (110 mm), Hoshangabad (241 mm), Morena (80 mm) and Betul, Khajuraho and Raisen 40 mm each. Other places in the state are also experienced heavy rains.
Road contact of Hoshangabad district with Narsinghpur, Jabalpur and Jhansi has also been disrupted and there have been reports of trees being uprooted and power failure from several places including Bhopal.
