'We have made all the arrangement for the visit. Besides, she will also made a field visit but inside the institute campus. She is expected to interact with top scientists of IARI,' the official added.
Several US officials have earlier visited IARI and discussed issues including a possible farmers' exchange programme. Micheal Keenum, then under secretary for farm and foreign agriculture, had toured the institute. Keenum too had visited Barota village in Sonepat, Haryana to observe farm practices.
During President George W. Bush's visit in 2006, agriculture was a key issue of discussion between Indian and the US.
Clinton, who arrives in Mumbai Friday night, is scheduled to reach here Sunday afternoon. She will be staying at the Taj Palace Hotel.
