Mumbai, Sep 9 - A police constable sustained burns after he set his face on fire after covering it with a piece of cloth for an act on a TV reality show, which will have Bollywood star Salman Khan as the celebrity guest. Despite the burns, the policeman successfully performed the stunt again.

Constable Santosh Maltumkar's act on the reality show 'Entertainment Ke Liye Aur Bhi Kuch Karega' required him to cover his face with a cloth and then set it on fire as well as break piles of glass slabs. However, the fire spread and became unbearable for him.

The production crew came to his rescue and stopped the fire from spreading any further, but he sustained burns on his chest, said a press release from Sony TV, which will broadcast the show starting Monday at 10 p.m.
