The police have registered a complaint against eight suspects. Though no arrest has been made yet, three people have been detained for interrogation. 'The railway police along with local police are conducting raids to nab the criminals,' Singh said.

'Soon after the train left Patna station, a dozen armed men, mostly youths, pretending to be passengers, boarded the special bogie for the handicapped and looted passengers at gun point,' police said.

Sharma was admitted to a hospital here, where the doctors described his condition as stable.
