The politburo will meet again Oct 11 to discuss the document.

The rectification document is being prepared 'to enhance level of consciousness' among the party leaders and cadres and to formulate a 'living culture' based on Communist values, said senior party leaders.

The decision to launch the rectification campaign in the party was taken in the last party congress.

Senior CPI-M leaders said the main target of the rectification campaign was the 'newly recruited cadres and leaders.'

Most of the party members are newly recruited and they lack the knowledge of communist lifestyle, the party leader said.
