Ranchi, Sep 6 - Jharkhand's all 21 legislators from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sunday submitted their resignations from the assembly to state unit chief Raghubar Das, as part of the party's demand for early assembly polls.
'All the legislators of the party have submitted their resignations. I am going to New Delhi to present the Jharkhand situation to parliamentary board meeting of the party. We will hand over the resignation letters to assembly speaker after discussing the issue in the meeting,' Das told reporters after the meeting of the state legislators.
The BJP has also announced to move the Supreme Court against the central government for not holding elections in the state.
'Home Minister P. Chidambaram had assured parliament to conduct assembly elections after monsoon. Election dates have been announced in three states and there is no sign of holding elections in Jharkhand,' said Das, adding Governor K.
