Villagers held a demonstration Sunday protesting the youth's death when two constables passed by the area. Angry villagers then chased them and beat them up.

The police, meanwhile, said that they would file a complaint once the autopsy is done.

'We are yet to receive the post mortem report. After confirming whether he died of an electric shock or falling from the tree, we will lodge an FIR,' Additional Superintendent of Police S.P. Pathak told IANS.
