Jammu, July 17 - Security forces killed two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants and seriously injured their woman associate in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir Friday morning, officials said.
A group of militants entered the house of contractor Mohammad Sharief Naik in village Dhara Chaka, about 180 km northeast of Jammu, late Thursday.
Security forces cordoned off the house and asked the militants to surrender.
Brigadier General Staff of 16 Corps Brig Gurdeep Singh told IANS: 'The widow of a terrorist was also inside. So we sent her mother to the house to ask her to surrender but the daughter refused.'
The militants and security forces were locked in a gun battle Friday morning.
