Free education in every stream will be provided up to graduation level,' announced Chautala, son of former chief minister Om Parkash Chautala.

The INLD also offered every family in Haryana a free LPG connection and tapped water supply.

Chautala refused to discuss the party's strategy for the assembly elections. He only said: 'Right now we do not want to disclose anything. There will be a big meeting under the leadership of Om Parkash Chautala in Panipat on Sep 3 to decide our further course of action.'

Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia had dissolved the assembly Aug 21 on the state cabinet's recommendation.

The term of the present assembly was to end in March 2010.

Now elections in the state will be held Oct 13 and the results will be announced Oct 22.
