The firing between the militants and security forces began Friday morning.

'We even used rocket launchers as the militants were firing heavily and throwing grenades,' said Prabhat Singh.

He added that Naik's daughter Shakeela was married to a militant Haq Nawaz who was killed a few years ago.

'This lady was used as a logistics helper,' Prabhat Singh said.

Gurdeep Singh said the operation to flush out the terorists was going on. 'We have to move very cautiously to avoid any collateral damage.'
