New Delhi: Entertainment-based social networking site ibibo.com, in association with Counter Culture Records, has launched an online platform - 'The Rising Rock Stars of India' - to encourage fresh talent and emerging rock bands across India.

As a part of the exercise, one band will get an opportunity every month to record an album professionally, which ibibo will market on the web and mobile telephony.
