New Delhi, Aug 31 - Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje arrived in the capital Monday to meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and discuss the issue of her resignation from the post of leader of opposition in the state assembly.
'She has come to discuss the matter and other political issues of the state with the party leaders in Delhi,' BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told IANS.
Raje will be meeting senior party leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, who has been appointed by the party to deal with the problems in the state.
The Rajasthan unit of the party was plunged into crisis after Raje refused to step down on the directive of BJP president Rajnath Singh in the wake of the party's debacle in the Lok Sabha elections in the state.
