New Delhi, Aug 27 - Aimed at creating awareness about the Right to Information (RTI) among citizens and government officers, the central government is starting a 15-day online certificate course on the RTI Act on a pilot project basis.

The course by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) of the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions will start next month.

'The 15-day course will be taken by various stakeholders on both the demand and supply sides of the RTI implementation regime. The first (pilot batch) course would begin on the 7th of next month,' said an official statement.

The course would be conducted in in association with the Centre for Good Governance, Hyderabad.
