Mumbai, Aug 7 - Drug maker Unichem Laboratories Thursday said it has received the Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Clonidine Hydrochloride tablets.
The product, a low dose potent drug in the antihypertensive category, will be manufactured at Unichem's Goa plant, the company said in a regulatory statement.

ICRA Techno merges with Sapphire International
Kolkata: The Connecticut-based IT solutions provider Sapphire International Inc, which was acquired by ICRA Techno Analytics Inc, the US-based information technology arm of ICRA Ltd, will be known as ICRA Sapphire Inc.
ICRA Techno Analytics acquired the US firm for $1 million in March.

Aurobindo Pharma gets Swiss approval for drug
Mumbai: Aurobindo Pharma Thursday said it has received approval from Swissmedic, an agency of the Switzerland government for therapeutic products, for its Cefepime APL injection.
The injection is used for treating moderate to severe pneumonia, septicaemia, and skin and intra-abdominal infections.
This is company's second product approval from Swissmedic, Aurobindo said in a regulatory statement.

Mumbai: Lavasa Corp and Wipro Thursday announced a partnership for planning, implementing and managing information and communication technology (ICT) services across Lavasa city.
Lavasa is free India's first and largest hill city being developed by Lavasa Corp, a part of HCC Group.
