The cost of a swine flu test would be Rs.4,500. The central government has been claiming that it spends nearly Rs.10,000 for conducting a swine flu test.
The Delhi government Tuesday had approved three private pathological laboratories - Dr Dang's Lab, Dr Lal Pathlabs and Auroprobe - in the city for testing samples for the swine flu virus. SRL is the fourth pathological laboratory to have got the approval for swine flu testing Wednesday evening.
The capital has so far reported 549 swine flu cases of which three have succumbed to the virus. However, 495 people had been discharged after being cured.
