Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 26 - The opposition parties in Kerala Wednesday claimed that the investigations into the murder of 32-year-old scion of the Muthoot business house Paul M. George were being hampered by political interference.
George was travelling with two men, who had criminal records, Friday night when he was murdered. The two are absconding while 12 other people have been arrested, including K. Satish, who police claim stabbed George.
'Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is speaking in the same language of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi soon after the ghastly killings that took place there a few years back. Like Modi, Balakrishnan says that the media need not delve into the details of the case. The investigation in the murder case is hampered by political interventions at the highest level,' Congress spokesperson M.M. Hassan told IANS.
