IGNOU vice-chancellor's adviser for special projects Pradeep Sahni who is coordinating the programme said that the dissertations from the civil servants need to meet the standard of IGNOU.

'The training in the programme, and standard must respond to the norms of accreditation and assessment of IGNOU for certification,' the varsity official said.

IGNOU is the largest distant learning university in the world with a student base of over 2.5 million in over 30 countries.
