BSP general secretary Man Singh Manhera said: 'After winning the elections, Kuldeep Bishnoi will be our chief minister while a Dalit leader from the BSP will be appointed deputy chief minister.'
The HJC went alone in the recently concluded general elections and won just one of the state's 10 Lok Sabha seats. The rest nine seats were bagged by the ruling Congress.
The HJC and BSP have planned a public rally in Jind town in Haryana Sep 20 as a show of strength. Mayawati is also expected to attend this rally.
The term of the present assembly and the Haryana government was to end in March 2010. But the elections are now likely to be held in October along with the polls to the Maharashtra assembly.
Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia dissolved the assembly Friday evening on the state cabinet's recommendation.
