He said that George was travelling with four people - his driver, Manu and Om Prakash and P. Rajesh, two people with criminal background. One Scorpio vehicle was following his vehicle.

'We are yet to ascertain who travelled in which of the two vehicles. Soon after the incident, Om Prakash and P. Rajesh escaped with the Endeavour. Their role in this murder case is also under investigation. But they are absconding and we are making all efforts to trace them,' Paul said.

He added that the Endeavour is now in police custody.

'A credit card and a bag have been recovered and there are blood stains inside the vehicle,' added Paul.

The St George's School in Delhi is owned by George's family. The principal of the school is Sara George, mother of the deceased. His father is the secretary of the Kottayam headquartered Orthodox Church.
