Bhopal, Aug 23 - A suspected swine flu patient in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city had recovered on his own by the time his sample report, indicating he had tested positive, was received from New Delhi, officials said Sunday.
According to Indore District Collector Rakesh Shrivastava, a 32-year-old man was suspected to have swine flu and his sample was sent to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), (earlier the National Institute of Disease Control) Aug 12 and the results were received Saturday.
However, the man had recovered by the time, he added.
Meanwhile, health department officials tested his wife and two children aged five and three, and found them in good health.
