In the past 24 hours several places recorded high rain fall. The highest 135.8 mm rain fall was recorded at Titlagarh town, the Bhubaneswar meteorological centre said.

Damages are caused due to floods mainly in three major rivers Mahanadi, Brahmani, and Baitarani.' The water level of these rivers have crossed warning level in some places, state flood control room officials said.

The flood water in the Mahanadi River was flowing near Naraj at 25.46 meters against the warning level of 25.41 meters Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.' control room officials said.
