.. otherwise we are free and dedicate our time to family and friends,' she said.
Rana feels that women working in the corporate world are busier than models.
'People need to understand that women in the corporate world hardly get time for their family, which is not true in our case,' she said.
Her contemporary Sonalika Sahay agrees with Rana and says that being a traditional housewife is difficult for any working woman especially for models because they are normally associated with glamour and have to travel a lot.
Sahay says that since they are associated with the glamour world, the support of husband and in-laws plays an important role to have a happy life.
'I have been very fortunate to get support from my hubby and my in-laws... in this profession your partner should understand your needs and trust you completely. After all it's glamour all the way,' explained Sahay, who has been married to a banker for the past four years.
Amanpreet Wahi, who got married earlier this year, believes the mantra to balance the professional and personal life is to give equal priority to both.
'Career doesn't change with marriage. Modelling is not a career where you get per month salary, so it's completely up to you. But if you are devoted and dedicated to both, your marital status would never be an issue,' Wahi told IANS.
Rana sums it up saying it is a 'great profession only if you manage it well'.
'Life is all about proper management. If you are good at it then you are lucky and can control your life in a much better way,' she said.
