Swaraj said Advani, is his speech, commented that 'whatever he (Jaswant Singh) has written is against the party's core ideology'.

Speaking on Sardar Patel, Advani said Jaswant Singh had 'denigrated' a figure whose contribution in unifying India during his tenure as the home minister between August 1947-December 1959 was a 'super human action' and was not possible for any other ordinary human being.

Commenting on coalition politics, Advani said 'coalition politics is necessary to destroy Congress' hegemony'.

According to Swaraj, Advani also suggested to the party to introspect on its downfall in the last few years.
