The doctors of the hospital demanded blood donation before admitting her and when she expressed her inability to do so, the hospital ousted her from the maternity ward in the night, the petition alleged.
Bhargava had to stay whole night at the Shahdara railway station and finally the next morning she had to board a train for Shamli, Muzzaffarnagar, in immense pain.
Sharda, with the help of her husband, managed to get herself admitted to a private nursing home in Shamli and the doctors there operated upon her without demanding blood donation, the petition said.
'There is a big racket in the trading of blood. The racket is carried out with the help of hospital authorities and with the touts,' alleged the petition.
