New Delhi, Aug 18 - Telling a story so as to captivate the readers is an art and to hone the skill a workshop was organised in the capital Tuesday to give valuable tips to young authors.
Jaishree Mishra, the author of best-selling 'Ancient Promises', gave tips to amateur authors on how to weave stories and make one's writing effective. The workshop was organised by Harper Collins Publications India and Oxford Bookstore.
'One must live life and get into the character and enhance the real life to make a good fiction,' said Mishra elaborating the key skills necessary for an author to make story effective.
The aspiring authors from colleges like the Lady Sri Ram College and Gargi College of Delhi University listened to Mishra with rapt attention.
