Chandigarh, Jaipur and Hyderabad also created more jobs in July than the previous month, the survey said.
While the pharma and biotech industry continued to add new jobs at fast pace, growing by 10 percent in July over the previous month, real estate and retail sectors generated 16 percent and 10 percent jobs respectively.
Jobs in auto and auto ancillary industry were up 11 percent last month as compared to June.
Telecom and financial services continued to lose jobs, with hiring activity dipping by 10 percent in the telecom sector, while banking and financial services was down 7 percent.
