'Two people, an MBA student in Pune and a Delhi-based businessman, had tested positive for the HINI virus after their samples were sent to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases in New Delhi.
'Both of them were home quarantined on the request of their parents and treated with Tamiflu tablets. Both of them have now fully recovered,' he said.
The official also dismissed reports that people entering the Valley from outside were not being properly screened.
'We are subjecting every person entering the valley either by air or through the Jammu-Srinagar highway to thorough screening before being cleared to continue their visits here,' Wani asserted.
