This is the third major breakthrough by the BSF in the last few days.
BSF personnel had recovered six kilograms of heroin, worth Rs.30 crore (Rs.300 million) in the international market, Monday, from across the fence in some paddy fields in Amritsar district. In this case also, the smugglers managed to escape, taking advantage of the darkness.
