Ahmedabad, Aug 17 - The Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is seeking advice from health officials of the city's municipal corporation on preventive measures to ward off the threat of swine flu from its campus here.
'We have already taken a series of preventive measures to ward off any threat of the H1N1 virus spreading in the campus by following several recommendations made by the AMC's (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) health officials,' an IIM-A spokesperson said in a statement Monday.
She said the swine flu situation in the campus is being monitored and the institute is adopting all preventive measures recommended by the civic body in Ahmedabad.
The move comes after a first year student tested positive for swine flu but left for her hometown in New Delhi without informing the management Sunday.
