The campaign would include felicitation of eminent personalities who have contributed towards building brand Chandigarh, various events across the city, debates, discussions and conferences, competitions like essays writing, poetry recitation and poster making.
'Our aim is to provoke and cultivate ideas that could further transform Chandigarh into one of the best cities in the world. Such ideas would help us in terms of improving the quality of life, social infrastructure and green and clean environment of the city,' said Partap Aggarwal, chairman of CII Chandigarh council.
'There would be a quick survey on how the residents view Chandigarh, how they see it as of now, past changes the city has undergone, its high points and how they wish to see the city in future,' he said.
