'We have been told at the airport to report if we have fever.'
However, there were some like World No. 3 Peter Gade of Denmark who feel the swine flue should not be a concern for the players as they are aware what precautions to be taken.
'We have been informed about it and I don't think it's a concern. Swine flu is wordwide and it is not isolated to India or any particular region. We travel almost every week and we know the precautions to take,' Gade said.
'I hope that he (coach) does not test positive. I am sure the world body will take care of the situation.'
Gade's views were echoed by Lithunia's coach Juozen Spelveris. 'I don't think there is any reason to panic. We have no concerns.'
The withdrawal of Thai pair Patipat Chalardchaleam and Nuttaphon Narkthong from the doubles due to fever have further fuelled the safety concerns at the World Badminton Championships, more so after England's pull out Sunday fearing a terror threat.
