The injured were rushed to the AIIMS trauma centre, and Sadarjung and Moolchand hospitals.

'Among the 15 admitted, three have died and two are in still in danger of getting paralysed. The ones with head injuries will be kept under observation,' M.C. Mishra, head of the AIIMS Trauma Centre, told IANS.

The Delhi government announced a compensation of Rs.500,000 to the kin of each of the deceased, Rs.200,000 each to those permanently disabled and Rs.50,000 each to those injured. The compensation will be paid by the DMRC.

The DMRC is a joint venture between the central and Delhi governments.
