Bhubaneswar, Aug 5 - Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Jagadananda Panda, who las week committed suicide after killing four members of his family including his father Munsi Panda, had 'great love for his father', a man who was working on a biography of Panda senior said Wednesday.
'Jagadananda Panda had talked to me on July 21 about publishing his father's biography. He wanted his biography published,' Ramchandra Nath, a New Delhi-based editor who was working on the manuscript, told IANS on telephone.
'Panda had great love for his father,' he said.
Panda and the four family members were found dead at their home in Deogaon in Bargarh district July 31.
Panda, who was posted in New Delhi as protector general of emigrants, killed his father, wife and two sisters before committing suicide as he was worried about raids conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at his residence and office in New Delhi and at his house in the village in a case of emigration racket, according to police.
