The MOUs were signed by Wu Jianguo, vice-president of Yunnan University, and by Calcutta University vice chancellor Suranjan Das, Rabindra Bharati University vice chancellor Karunasindhu Das and Visva Bharati University registrar Col. M.M. Mitra.
Speaking on the occasion, Yunnan province vice governor Gao Feng said: 'We are working towards developing a mutually rewarding education system. This will greatly help the education industries of both the countries.
'The universities in Yunnan are very much interested to get into educational collaborations with many West Bengal universities.'
